Kiwi – “Arctic Beauty”
$15.00
Kiwi vines are a beautiful and under-appreciated perennial that thrive here in southcentral Alaska. Kiwi love partial shade, grow prolifically, and even create a harvest of grape-sized, non-fuzzy kiwis that you can eat like berries. Kiwis grow as male and female plants, so for fruit you’ll need a male and female (though 1 male can pollinate several female plants.) The males plants develop beautiful pink and green leaves, and the female plants provide the fruit! These vines require a trellis or fence.
