“Red Beauty” Female Arctic Kiwi

$20.00

This female arctic kiwi (Actinidia Kolomitka) produces a beautiful vine with leaves that develop a red blush as the season progresses. Once established, it produces plentiful, small, green kiwifruits in late August here in southcentral Alaska. Kiwi vines need space to grow and will eventually become a very large vine. It can also tolerate partial shade.  The grape-sized kiwis don’t have fuzzy skin and can be eaten fresh off the vine! It needs a male kiwi (Arctic Beauty) planted nearby for pollination and fruit. Sold in 1 gallon pots.
